There was an apple, a snake, two explorers, and a squirrel hidden behind a tree witnessing the end of paradise. That’s the story behind the re-branding of Mesieur Adam, now MAISON ADAM, a shoe shop nestled in Brussels' most iconic commercial streets.
In rethinking the narrative of Adam and Eve, we playfully chose to highlight the quirky role of squirrels and transformed this amiable creature into the brand mark.
Symbolically, a squirrel embodies energy, determination, and trustworthiness — qualities synonymous with MAISON ADAM.In concordance, the logotype invites to engage with the playful circular shapes that soften the edges and reference the squirrel's tail.
The addition of MAISON provides shelter to the brand, and make it more inclusive and welcoming. All in all, we worked towards crafting a brand that strives for a classic aesthetic with a contemporary flair, trying to convey class and timeless with a laid-back charm.
